Gemma at Melborune Cake Studio is incredible, we got a two tier cake for our wedding and it was perfect and Gemma nailed our vision. We chose our cake flavours through the tasting box and it was so hard to pick because they were all incredible.

We engaged Melbourne Cake Studio to make a custom "battery shaped" cake for a special business event/celebration. The task was quite complex with our expectation for the cake to look an exact replica of a car battery, both dimensionally as well as aesthetically. Gemma & Melbourne Cake Studio's team did an incredible job with producing a cake looking so much like a real battery that all the guests were gobsmacked and believed that this was a battery and not the cake! Well done, Gemma..your attention to detail and passion for what you do has been commendable! Thanks a lot.

I would highly recommend Melbourne cake studios..
We had an 80th birthday cake made.
It looked AMAZING and tasted AMAZING. We ordered lemon mud.. it wouldn’t have been my personal choice of flavour out of the list.. but i thought its not for me I’ll go with lemon as the couple it was for love lemon. It was delicious. It was a bit of a show stopper too, everyone commented on it.. everyone loved it.
Super easy to order online.

Gemma was amazing. She helped talk us through the varying options, sizes of cake and frosting options.
Then we had to try choose two of the delicious flavours available.
The end result was fantastic. Our guests loved the cake. I thought we had ordered more than needed but it all got eaten 😋💜

The most beautiful cake was made for my daughter’s 21st birthday party by Melbourne Cake Stuidio.
We had a vision and brief that Gemma and team brought to life fulfilling our expectations not only visually but it also tasted soooo delicious!

We have had such a wonderful experience with Gemma over the last 10 years. Her cakes have been a huge hit at all our significant milestones, from our wedding cake, milestone birthdays 30th, 60ths, 70ths to our sons 1st,2nd,3rd and baby shower cakes! Gemma worked her magic and made my dream cake come alive for my 60th birthday party. She is a creative genius and her cakes are delicious. From the moment I stepped into her beautiful shop, it was professionalism all the way, and she also delivered to the venue, as I didn't trust myself. I loved the way she managed to match the drape of my dress with the drape on the cake. Her work is amazing and I thoroughly recommend her to anyone looking for a special occasion cake.

I ordered a 9 inch (32 aervings) cake - citrus mudcake with lemon buttercream (decorated with fresh orchids) from Melbourne Cake Studio for a birthday celebration.
Gemma made the process of choosing and designing the cake effortless.
My guests and I really enjoyed the cake as it was delicious, moist, flavoursome and not too sweet. Highly recommended.

We (and all our guests) absolutely loved our wedding cake! Gemma was a pleasure to deal with and gave us some good advice / guidance as we weren't 100% on what cake we wanted (the sample cake box was incredible and really helpful). Our cake was delicious, even as we are still eating the leftovers a week later. Thank you so much!

Gemma and the team were absolutely incredible to work with when planning our wedding cake! They made everything so easy and were also able to send us designs similar to what we had in mind to help us with our vision! The cake was absolutely beautiful and all 4 flavours we had were delicious! The cake was delivered to the venue and set up all as discussed so we had absolutely no stress on our end!

Gemma is an artist, she absolutely nailed the look that we wanted with the statement piece as well. The taste of both were exquisite and she made everything extremely easy but setting it all up on the day.

Outstanding job by the Melbourne Cake Studio on the birthday cake! They truly outdid themselves, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. The birthday boy, a massive fan of beer, was completely taken aback by the cake – not only for its fun and personal design but also for its deliciousness. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the flavours were even better than we hoped.
We had a rich, moist lemon mud cake filled with tangy lemon buttercream, which was perfect for the occasion, and the white chocolate and raspberry cake was out of this world. Everyone at the party was raving about it, and it made the celebration extra special. If you want to impress, the Melbourne Cake Studio is the way to go!

Thank you Gemma for our lovely wedding cake. We love everything about it, the colours of the mini cupcakes perfectly matched the colours of our wedding! The flavours of the cake, we loved the raspberry frosting, the cupcake flavours were a hit with all guests.
We also loved how you decorated the cake and between the cupcakes with fresh florals.

Gemma's food and communication was exceptional. The flavours of the cake were incredible, her attention to detail on the figurines of our dogs on the cake was amazing. We also ordered a slab for our vegan/lactose free friends and they couldn't believe the flavours!

Gemma & her team at Melbourne cake studio created the most amazing and delicious wedding cake for our wedding just gone. We had a three tier wedding cake with the flavours white mud, biscoff butter cake and salted caramel crunch mud cake. Not only where the flavours delicious but it was incredible that you could have multiple flavours in the one cake 🥰

Gemma and team were absolutely wonderful and professional to deal with. They were very prompt with their responses and answering any questions I had. They were able to customise a design I found to exactly how I wanted it without a fuss. To top it off the flavours of the cake were phenomenal! All the guests loved it.
